Job Description:

The position holder is responsible for leading the implementation of new Archroma SAP S/4 Hana system in close collaboration with IT Project Manager, Business Process Manager, Global Process Owners, external consultants and supervising Project Management Office related activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities are summarized (but not limited) to the following:

  • Ensure system implementation is aligned to Archroma Global Processes template definition
  • Communicating status and vision to project team and stakeholders
  • Making strategic decisions that would help achieve better organizational or project objectives
  • Coordinating, guiding and leading the team members during the project development
  • Steer the project to completion in an orderly and progressive manner
  • Facilitator to resolve conflicts and promote the dialogue and consensus within the team
  • Management of key activities, deliverables and milestones completion
  • Hold project work team accountable for implementation
  • Co-operating with other teams and cross functions to achieve better project results
  • Change management activities as communication, process mapping and training needs
  • Project quality, sign off and approvals to proceed to each succeeding project phase
  • Ensure project knowledge is kept, business processes and control systems documented
  • Project resource planning and logistics coordination
  • Setting and controlling scope
  • Budget and risk management


  • Previous experience in chemical industry preferred
  • Ability to work closely with Process Owners and other key stakeholders
  • Proven record of excellent performance
  • Excellent leadership and sound judgment
  • High degree of initiative, commitment and flexibility
  • Innovative and creative thinking
  • Ability to multitask under high stress and aggressive timelines
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Willing to learn new technologies, processes and flexible to changes
  • Great teamwork and communication
  • Experience in complex Project Management
  • Experience with SAP implementations from inception to completion
  • Project Management Certification (PMP), Bachelor's degree and/or MBA
  • Accurate and efficient working style
  • Fluent in English any additional language is a plus
  • Availability to travel extensively


  • Role based in Reinach, Switzerland
