Surfactants to ensure fiber cleanliness
Archroma’s KIERALON® range of wetting and cleaning agents helps optimize dyeing and finishing processes by removing impurities and enhancing product uptake. These specialty surfactants are optimized for continuous applications and ideal for various fibers, including cotton, polyester and elastane blends, in accordance with strict voluntary standards and restricted substances lists.
With excellent wetting and detergent properties, KIERALON® surfactants are tailored for different textile applications. KIERALON® MRZ provides outstanding wetting and washing-off properties, making it suitable for various natural fibers, including cotton and its blends.
KIERALON® F-MFB is a high-performance agent known for its strong emulsifying properties and low-foaming action. It is particularly effective at removing mineral oils, silicones and other impurities from polyester/elastane blends in both continuous and discontinuous pretreatment processes.
Multifunctional KIERALON® MRZ is a core part of Archroma’s fully synthetic ECO2 SIZE sizing system for woven fabrics. Alongside the ARKOFIL® CE and TREFIX® SLB sizing agents, it helps mills increase weaving efficiency while saving resources, minimizing dust generation and cutting wastewater treatment costs.
