ONE WAY+
The textile industry constantly faces challenges like the growing demand for sustainable textiles, compliance with environmental regulations, water consumption issues, and waste management. These challenges can hinder the overall manufacturing process and ultimately lead to decreased quality of production and products.

Our approach to environmental and economic sustainability
The textile industry constantly faces challenges like the growing demand for sustainable textiles, compliance with environmental regulations, water consumption issues, and waste management. These challenges can hinder the overall manufacturing process and ultimately lead to decreased quality of production and products.
We believe that our solutions and processes, powered by SUPER SYSTEMS+, can offer brands and mills improved operational excellence throughout their textile value chain and create differentiation for economic, technological and environmental sustainability.
The ONE WAY+ is a three-phase process of establishing the baseline, process design and implementation, and ongoing improvement. Tailor-made for selected customers, it draws on the expertise of a curated team of Archroma processing experts and leverages specialist tools and technologies, including Archroma’s ONE WAY Impact Calculator combined with Sustainability Improvement Program.
Explore the different phases and toolkits

Bringing ideas, products and potential to life with a positive impact for mills:
More efficient processes, higher profits
Improved productivity & reduced utilities
Efficient effluent management
Access to products that are compliant with current and future regulatory requirements
Remain sustainable and ensure the best practices available are utilized
Bringing ideas, products and potential to life with a positive impact for brands:
Roadmap to achieve sustainability targets
Understand where currently suppliers stand in terms sustainability
Benchmark current impact on supply chain
Optimize efficiencies on supply chain
Connect with like-minded suppliers to support sustainability commitments
From base-line audit to results review, ONE WAY+ is usually carried out over 16 weeks, with a team of two or three Archroma experts working closely with the customer’s technical teams. Results achieved so far include the following:
- A textile mill in China, serving a top international sports and athleisure brand, cut its processing time by 30% while reducing water and steam requirements by 40% and achieving a 10% RFT improvement.
- A textile mill in Peru, serving a leading American luxury fashion house, reduced water and steam usage by 20% while slashing processing time by 30%.
- A textile mill in Argentina, serving casual wear and performance apparel brands, reduced water consumption by 40% and steam usage by 20%.
- A textile mill in India, serving some of the world’s largest homewares brands, improved productivity by 15% while achieving 95% right first time (RFT) processing and 0.5% quality rejection.
Sustainability doesn't need to cost more. And we can prove it.
Our ONE WAY Impact Calculator is a process simulation and calculation tool. We use it to analyze and compare existing and proposed production processes so you can make better decisions.

Customized Reporting for Informed Decisions
A typical report breaks down data from each step of the target process: sizing, pretreatment, dyeing, printing and finishing. In this example, we analyze the impact of switching to DENISOL® INDIGO without altering the fabric or processing method. The results are presented visually, making it easy to compare production across key metrics such as cost and time, water and energy consumption, chemical usage and CO2 emissions.
The ONE WAY Impact Calculator by Archroma is a powerful tool, created in collaboration with leading companies in textile machinery and processing solutions.
