Rohit Aggarwal

Rohit Aggarwal is Divisional President and CEO of Archroma Textile Effects, with an additional oversight role as President Asia. He joined Archroma from Huntsman Corporation, after the Textile Effects business of Huntsman was acquired by Archroma in February 2023.

Mr. Aggarwal has over 30 years of global experience and held several leadership positions for over a decade, having worked and lived in five countries across various continents.

Mr. Aggarwal joined Huntsman back in 2005 and had served in both Huntsman Advanced Materials and Textile Effects divisions. He left Huntsman in 2013 to join Louis Dreyfus Commodities B.V. as CEO of Asia Region, a position he held until his return to Huntsman in 2015. He served as Vice President and Managing Director of the Indian Subcontinent region until July 2016 when he was appointed as Division President of Huntsman Textile Effects.

Mr Aggarwal is a founding member and the current Chairman of SCTI (Sustainable Chemistry for the Textile Industry), an alliance of chemical companies which is shaping the sustainability standards of the textile value chain. He also serves as a Board Member of ZDHC, a textile brands-led sustainability initiative.

Mr. Aggarwal holds an MBA in international business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda, India.
