It is well known that in our industry there is a strong pressure to step out from fluorine based oil and water repellents wherever possible and to move towards more sustainable PFAS-free technologies.
Continuous efforts are made developing innovative fluorine-free chemistries to close the gap and get equal to the PFC-performance. There is still a long way, but great achievements were already made.

Our experts will introduce our new PHOBOTEX® NTR-50 LIQ, designed to provide excellent water repellence on all kinds of fibers while achieving a very soft handle and avoiding undesired effects like yellowing and chalk marking. It performs especially well on synthetic fibers and their blends, making it ideal for apparel, outdoor wear and home textiles.
