Archroma recently celebrated the opening of a new series of research laboratories within its Light Hall facility in Mumbai, marking a significant milestone in the centralization and expansion of its global Innovation Center of Excellence.
The enhanced facility brings together best-in-class research, development, and customer service laboratories under one roof, creating a robust hub for collaboration and sustainable innovation. By consolidating our technical expertise and resources in Mumbai, we can strengthen our ability to support customers locally and globally with advanced, high-performance solutions designed for a more responsible textile industry.
At the new laboratories, our research scientists are developing next-generation dyes and specialty chemicals that cover the entire textile processing spectrum: from fiber preparation and pre-treatment to dyeing, printing, and finishing. The expanded center embodies our commitment to delivering performance, competitiveness, and agility, while staying true to its planet-conscious vision.
The opening ceremony was led by Anjani Prasad, RVP of India, on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, featuring a traditional ribbon-cutting accompanied by rituals symbolizing growth and prosperity.
Mr. Prasad reaffirmed his enthusiasm and commitment to the Light Hall Innovation Center of Excellence, “Innovation is the heartbeat of Archroma. These new facilities will serve as a place where science, sustainability, and creativity come together to better serve our customers and shape the future of responsible textile chemistry.”
