Water-based highly flexible waterproofing membranes

As the construction industry continuous to grow so does the demand for high-performance, long lasting and water-proof cement-based mortar applications. Untreated concrete is porous and will absorb water, contaminants and liquid chemicals. This will cause the concrete to deteriorate and shorten its lifespan. To ensure long lasting high durability waterproofing is essential.

Conventional waterproofing dispersions contain ammonia which is released during the cement mixing process. This creates a strong irritating odor that can harm the environment, the health of operators on a construction site and contaminate water.

With Mowilith® LDM 6483, Archroma offers an eco-advanced, ammonia-free, water-based acrylic dispersion for highly flexible cementitious waterproofing membranes. Being ammonia-free* and solvent-free* Mowilith® LDM 6483 does not pose a risk to health or the environment with remarkable water resistance, high cement compatibility, excellent crack-bridging properties and good adhesion to various substrates. Its flexibility even with 2k mortars put Mowilith® LDM 6483 on a new level with mortar applications.

Concrete and mortars modified with Mowilith® LDM 6483 show enhanced performance and are compliant with drinking water standards.
