Archroma Brings Single-Step Dyeing for Wash-Down Effects to Kingpins Amsterdam
“For denim brands today, competitiveness means delivering the looks consumers crave while meeting environmental and economic targets. Wash-down effects have traditionally been challenging, requiring multiple steps and lots of water and energy,” Jordi Calucho, Super Systems Denim Director, Archroma said. “InOneGO is a real step change from the Archroma Innovation team – giving you easy wash-down garments without multiple washes in the dyeing process.”
InOneGO by Archroma simplifies dyeing to a single pad-dry application step and delivers wash-down effects without compromising fastness. It runs on Stenter and Thermosol lines and is compatible with performance finishes added in a second step. InOneGO has been tested by mills in Portugal such as Somelos, a casualwear manufacturer, and has already been put into commercial production by Lameirinho, a leading home textiles mill.
At Kingpins Amsterdam, Archroma will also showcase its advanced DIRESUL® RDT range of pre-reduced low-sulfur liquid dyes. Compatible with the InOneGO process, it offers a comprehensive palette spanning blues, blacks, navies, khakis and fashion colors. DIRESUL® RDT is ZDHC MRSL-conformant and GOTS-approved and meets the bluesign® Criteria. It also holds the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute's Gold Level Material Health Certificate.
InOneGO by Archroma with DIRESUL® RDT reduced environmental impact substantially. Compared with conventional cold pad-batch reactive dyeing with pigment top-dye finish, it achieved up to*:
- 81% less process time
- 97% less water consumption
- 65% less energy consumption
- 75% less CO2 emissions
InOneGO is also compatible with Archroma’s EarthColors® and FiberColors® biomass-based sulfur dyes.
