Archroma, a global leader in specialty chemicals, once again demonstrates its unwavering dedication to education and social responsibility with the distribution of personalized learning kits to 1000 children residing in the villages of Umaraya and Luna, located in Padra, India.

In 2010, Archroma introduced its school enrichment initiative, designed to bolster education in rural regions and empower young learners with the resources necessary for academic and personal growth. By offering personalized learning kits, Archroma aims to further enhance the educational opportunities for children in these underserved communities.

"We believe that education is the cornerstone of a brighter future for all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances," said Chun Hao Lok, VP, Supply Chain & Technical Ops, Archroma. "By providing these customized learning kits, we aim to empower children in rural areas with the resources they need to pursue their dreams and build a better tomorrow."

The carefully curated starter kits include essential educational materials such as school bags, notebooks, stationery pouches, drawing books, water bottles, and notebook binders, meticulously put together to meet the specific needs of each education grade.

A special event was also organized in the presence of the School Management Committee, Panchayat body, and representatives from Archroma International India Pvt Ltd. The event celebrated the success story of Usha Parvbatbhai Padhiyar, a former student of the same school who is currently in her second year of college. Parvbatbhai shared her journey and emphasized the invaluable support provided by Archroma throughout her educational and professional endeavors.

"At Archroma, we firmly believe in the transformative power of education and community support. Our commitment extends beyond classrooms to uplift entire communities. By investing in education and supporting local families, we aim to nurture talents and pave the way for a brighter future for all," shared Atul Ashtekar, Site Director - Baroda, Archroma Textile Effects.

Through initiatives like this, Archroma continues to make meaningful contributions to the communities it serves, championing education as a catalyst for positive change and empowering future generations.
