DENIM HALO

Patented Archroma technology that combines an innovative pre-treatment with our unique sulfur and indigo dyestuffs for denim, we have created a revolutionary application process that produces laser-friendly, easily washable denim.

DENIM HALO significantly reduces water, energy and greenhouse gas emissions in denim processing and laundering compared to industry standard. It also helps reduce caustic soda use in sulfur dyeing, which lowers the effluent load and improves weaving efficiency.

Achieving very superficial yarn dyeing, DENIM HALO creates laser-friendly denim for popular washdown effects. This not only saves resources, but also avoids processes like manual hand scraping or potassium permanganate spraying.

The new process combines our DIRSOL® RD p pretreatment with Archroma indigo dyes or our sulfur black, sulfur blue or sulfur colors dyestuffs to achieve a ring-dyeing effect.

DIRSOL® RD meets the bluesign® criteria, is a GOTS approved additive / descriptor, published on the ZDHC Gateway with Conformance Level 3.
