ARKOPHOB®

Biocarbon-rich booster for durable water repellence

Our range of hydrophobic crosslinkers is designed to improve the durability and performance of water-repellent finishes on fabric—boosting wash-durability and dry-cleaning resistance. ARKOPHOB® are formaldehyde-free* and organotin-free*, with a bio-based option.

ARKOPHOB® is applied to strengthen the performance of durable water repellents that need an additive crosslinker, like ZELAN™ R3 or xxxx, and our water-based APPRETAN® coating binders. ARKOPHOB® DAN in particular is known for its high stability and for having no negative impact on fabric whiteness.

ARKOPHOB® NTR-40 extends Archroma’s range of biocarbon-rich water repellent systems. Its biocarbon content of 40% meets bluesign® standards and makes it a preferred option for brands that base their portfolios on advanced chemistry.

All products in the ARKOPHOB® range are free of PFC, PFOA, PFOS, APEO, formaldehyde, butanone oxime and organotin.* They are suitable for producing bluesign® APPROVED products – providing they are used as recommended.
