LURAPRET^®

Water-based, ultra-low VOC water-proofing

Our specialized LURAPRET® polymers provide waterproofing for indoor and outdoor textiles and nonwovens. Water-based and solvent-free, they can also help enhance the mechanical properties, UV resistance and durability of fabrics, depending on the formulation.

LURAPRET® products are designed to enhance the performance of textiles and nonwovens. They can help make technical textiles, like xxx, more xxx; protect home textiles against stains and tears so they last longer; impart softness to blackout curtains for hot climates; and more. They are also highly compatible with other finishes for flame retardance or improved durability and fastness.

Ideal for indoor and outdoor textiles, the LURAPRET® N series are based on ultra-low VOC polyurethane (PU) polymers. They provide excellent UV and light fastness, good hydrolysis resistance, and low thermal yellowing—helping textiles stay looking good through long exposure to water and varying temperatures. They also enhance the tensile strength and scratch resistance of fabrics.

Ideal when exposure to solvents and dry-cleaning is anticipated, the LURAPRET® D series are based on acrylonitrile/acrylic copolymers. In addition to imparting high durability, these polymers are soft and elastic, with limited stickiness, and particularly suitable for flame retardant applications.

All products in the LURAPRET® range are solvent-free#.

LURAPRET® products are bluesign® approved, GOTS approved additive, and are published on the ZDHC Gateway with Conformance Level 3. Applies to selected products in the LURAPRET® range. For further information please refer to The Safe Edge portal.
