PYROVATEX®

Flame-retardant for cotton, with a soft handfeel and good wash resistance

Protective wear for high-risk professions can be treated with PYROVATEX® flame retardants to help prevent fire damage while retaining the softness of the cotton fabric so it is comfortable enough to wear for an extended period of time. PYROVATEX® also has good wash resistance.

Developed for cotton and cotton-rich blends, PYROVATEX® is a durable flame retardant for high-performance functional textiles. When applied to fabrics, it remains resistant to washing at the boil and dry cleaning. PYROVATEX® has little effect on color fastness and will not impede the soft handle of cotton.

PYROVATEX® is simple to apply with ordinary continuous dyeing machines. These finishes can also be used with repellent platforms, antistatic agents and selected coating polymers.

PYROVATEX® is both halogen-free* and antimony-free*.
