Sizing additives for smooth and flexible sized yarn

Our TREFIX® sizing agents and after-wax increase the flexibility and smoothness of the sized yarn to increase loom efficiency and reduce dust generation. They support compliance with strict voluntary standards and restricted substances lists. 

Applied as a sizing agent or after-wax, our TREFIX® sizing auxiliaries help reduce friction and abrasion between fibers and the loom’s metal parts. They effectively enhance the flexibility of the sized yarn and reduce hairiness, delivering smoother weaving and higher-quality fabric. Additionally, they increase the sizing pick-up, ensuring optimal fiber protection and loom efficiency and greatly reducing dust generation.

TREFIX® SLB is a core part of Archroma’s fully synthetic ECO2 SIZE sizing system for woven fabrics. Alongside the ARKOFIL® CE sizing agent and KIERALON® MRZ wetting and cleaning agent, it helps mills increase weaving efficiency while saving resources, minimizing dust generation and reducing wastewater treatment impact.
