ARKOFIL^®

There are ARKOFIL® formulations to match the specific properties and processing requirements of all types of spun yarns—from cotton, wool and linen to polyester, viscose and other synthetics and blends. The range includes fully synthetic agents based on CMC, PVA and polyacrylates, as well as starch-based ARKOFIL® S60.

With high adhesive power, the ARKOFIL® sizing agents deliver excellent weaving efficiency with minimal sizing application. This helps mills increase productivity, with fewer stoppages during weaving, while also reducing wear and tear on machinery. ARKOFIL® are fast and easy to apply and easily removable. All of the synthetic agents are removed by simple washing or alkaline treatments.

ARKOFIL® CE is a core part of Archroma’s fully synthetic ECO2 SIZE sizing system for woven fabrics. Alongside the TREFIX® SLB sizing auxiliary and KIERALON® MRZ wetting and cleaning agent, it helps mills increase weaving efficiency while saving resources, minimizing dust generation and cutting wastewater treatment costs.
