Our BACTOSOL® enzymes are tailored to deliver superior fabric quality, with improved softness and reduced piling on cotton and its blends. They are designed for desizing and fiber surface modification, with lower energy and water usage.

The BACTOSOL® range covers a wide range of operating conditions, with enzymes for starch removal, peroxide removal, bio-polishing, bio-washing, denim washing and bio-scouring. BACTOSOL® SAP, for example, is a bio-catalyst that ensures efficient hydrogen peroxide removal to help prevent uneven dyeing or fabric damage. BACTOSOL® ACG bio-polishes cellulosic fabrics to remove fiber hairs, enhancing softness and reducing pilling.

Alongside mechanical effects, BACTOSOL® and other wet-processing effects are used to create a unique, vintage look to denim. Desizing enzymes, like BACTOSOL® HPA, prepare the fabric to fade when subject to stress or abrasion and bio-washing or bio-scouring with products like BACTOSOL® CA exaggerates fading to create the appearance of natural wear—all while enhancing comfort and texture.

BACTOSOL® is compliant with ZDHC and suitable for producing bluesign® APPROVED and GOTS-certified products—providing the products are used as recommended.
