Mr. Aggarwal has been at the helm of Archroma Textile Effects since March 2023 when the division came to life following the acquisition of Huntsman Textile Effects.
He has over 30 years of global experience and held several leadership positions for over a decade, having worked and lived in five countries across various continents.
Mr. Aggarwal joined Huntsman back in 2005 and had served in both Huntsman Advanced Materials and Textile Effects divisions. He left Huntsman in 2013 to join Louis Dreyfus Commodities B.V. as CEO of Asia Region, a position he held until his return to Huntsman in 2015. He served as Vice President and Managing Director of the Indian Subcontinent region until July 2016 when he was appointed as Division President of Huntsman Textile Effects.
He is a founding member and the current Chairman of SCTI, (Sustainable Chemistry for the Textile Industry), an alliance of chemical companies which is shaping the sustainability standards of the textile value chain. He is also a Board Member of ZDHC, a textile brands-led sustainability initiative.
