IMEROL^®

Offering improved wetting, effective cleaning and enhanced bleaching, the IMEROL® surfactants are tailored for different fibers and processing requirements. Non-ionic IMEROL® PCLF is a low-foaming emulsifying agent that performs well across a broad pH range and alongside optical brighteners. This makes it suitable for pretreatment processes, including scouring and bleaching, especially for synthetic fibers like polyester and its blends. Anionic IMEROL® FAST is a highly effective all-in-one bleaching activator that is biodegradable and ideal for cotton and its blends.  

Our IMEROL® BLUE all-in-one bleaching auxiliary is key to Archroma’s BLUE MAGIC pretreatment process, which delivers advanced brightening and enhanced absorbency alongside simple handling and optimal uniformity and dyeability. Without the need for separate rinsing and neutralization after bleaching, BLUE MAGIC helps reduce processing time for yarn, cotton flocks, terry towels, woven and knitwear, with reduced effluent loads.

IMEROL® is compliant with ZDHC and suitable for producing bluesign® APPROVED and GOTS-certified products—providing the products are used as recommended. It is free of phosphorus and APEO and biodegradable.
