5S-SOLED program training at Ramiro Priale school in Perú

The Archroma Peru team is working on the implementation of the 5S -SOLED program (Japanese Program), in a school named "Ramiro Priale" that is located on a property adjacent to our company. We are working and involving the director, teachers, parents, and students of the school in the adoption of this program and thus be able to reach their homes.

Domino effect to bring down WWTP sludge in China

FeSO4 replace FeCl3 from middle of April 2022. This project leads to decrease sludge output. Reduce wastewater treatment cost. It brings us a domino effect.

Helping remove PFAS in NORAM

We guided Ecolab in the best chemistry to substitute their fluorinated-chemical applications. By reaching the required performance Ecolab was able to introduce a new formulation in many of their customers and remove the use of PFAS containing chemicals.

Lithium free Carta® dyes in Latin America

In 2021, due to the shortage and consequent price increase of lithium, with the risk of shortages in the packaging dyes market in Argentina, we worked as a team to promptly supply the yellow and orange dyes based on a lithium free process developed in Resende in 2014.

Martin site production water usage savings in NORAM

Three sustainability projects in Martin were conducted to reduce time and water in the production facility. Overall, the projects resulted in a yearly water savings of 1,946,000 L (0 47% of the total Martin site influent water usage) and cost savings of USD144,000 USD/yr.

New Carta Orange RTG liq in China

This project is the synthesis process of new Carta® Orange RTG liq. The process uses an organic base for reaction. The reaction process is stable and controllable, and the final product is stable. This process has successfully produced 310 tons of finished products in Tianjin.

New evolution sulfur black safe & sustainable by design in Spain

An innovative dye synthesis developed from the design, for a safer and more sustainable Black production. With the new Archroma's EVOLUTION BLACK we want to be sustainable, less pollutant and environmentally more neutral, following the CSS (Chemical Sustainability Strategy) in accordance with the European green agreement.

NORAM railway network in NORAM

For the NORAM OBA range, by creating a railcar fleet to move product closer to our end customers, the fuel efficiency advantage vs using trucks which avoided creating 515.9 metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions in CY21, while also improving customer service and responsiveness.
